Wedding Style
So, just what is my style of wedding photography? Some call it reportage, others refer to it as photojournalistic. I prefer to use the word 'documentary-style' (ok, that's two words!), but it probably best describes the way I like to work.
Like a fly-on-the-wall cameraman, I will capture your wedding as it unfolds naturally. I won't be telling you where to stand, or holding up the day to get zillions of posed (and quite unnatural) photographs... but I will be there, in the background (ninja-like), unobtrusively recording the people, the venue and those wonderful moments that will be so important to you on your wedding day.
Each wedding I photograph is a story told. Each has its moments of drama, of tension of laughter and of love. Each is unique, and each requires flexibility that can only come from combining experience, empathy, and professional-level equipment.
Prior to the wedding day,I will meet with both the Bride and Groom to find out what you want from your wedding photographs, I will show you the amazing GraphiStudio wedding album, answer your questions and arrange the pre-wedding shoot.
The pre-wedding shoot gives me a chance to photograph you both before the big day and see how you react in front of the camera. It's a fun way to get some great photos, and is essential, I believe, to developing the rapport needed for some great, natural looking wedding images.
“We would just like to say how much we liked your photos. We really were impressed with your professionalism.”
